Hoy traemos a este espacio este artículo de Primavera De Filippi. Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law titulado Blockchain-based Crowdfunding: what impact on artistic production and art consumption?.
Abstract:
Crowdfunding relies on the contribution of a large number of individuals in order to finance the production of a particular work. Already a few crowdfunding platforms have been deployed on the blockchain, rewarding people’s financial contributions to a project with actual shares of the project. Their interests become thereforemore alignedwith that ofthe author, since anyone investing in the project becomes an active shareholder, whose return on investment ultimately depends on the success or failure of that project.
Blockchain technology can be used to create new types of securities (cryptoequity) which represent shares of the project for which the funds are sought.
La tecnología de Blockchain se puede utilizar para crear nuevos tipos de valores (criptoequidad) que representan las partes del proyecto para las cuales se buscan los fondos.
